This is a marvelous pit that is used by cavers for training and practice sessions. It's not very deep by comparison to others we know of. At most 60 feet with 50 feet at the shallow end. But it's a good one for cavers of all skill levels to hone their skills. There are numerous anchor points all around the pit and just as many different types of vertical scenarios to choose from to practice for this or that cave. Cavers placed anchor bolts/hangers in and around the pit (but not too many) to help create rebelays and easier access points. The photos are from several years of various practices I've attended/held. They're in no (real) particular order. Photo credits include Brandon Kowallis, Mike Mimbach, Caralee Crye, myself and several others.
